Early in his medical career, Dr Amobi began noticing a troubling pattern. Many of the professionals he cared for were highly capable, disciplined, and successful. They were physicians, executives, entrepreneurs, and leaders carrying significant responsibility. From the outside, their lives appeared stable and accomplished. But during consultations a different story often emerged.

They were exhausted. Sleep had become unpredictable. Weight gain was harder to control. Energy levels were declining. Stress rarely switched off. These were not people lacking motivation or discipline. They were individuals who had spent years prioritising their work, their patients, their businesses, and their families. Their health had simply been placed last.

Dr Amobi realised that what he was seeing was not just an individual problem. It was a structural one. Modern professional life places enormous pressure on the body’s stress systems, metabolism, and recovery cycles. Yet traditional healthcare often focuses on treating disease only after it develops.
